Hi, I have just sold a large soft toy but I only paid for Royal Mail small parcel at £3.38 .I should have actually bought a MEDIUM parcel label. Is there any way I can change the label or pay extra?

On some platforms (such as Android mobile website) eBay gives the option to upgrade the label size at no extra cost but as long as the label size is that recommended by eBay at the time of listing then you can just go ahead and use it anyway. Due to the way that eBay's contract with the carrier works it will still be accepted by the carrier and there won't be any surcharges.

Sorry.....I forgot to add I have not printed the label off yet.

Thank you for your reply. It was me who chose the postage as SMALL parcel......but the toy was bigger than the size Royal Mail accepts for SMALL parcel. So if I use the original label that says SMALL parcel on a MEDIUM parcel they won't accept it. Could I pay extra at the post office??

You won't be able to pay extra at the Post Office. You could buy a new label and then request a refund of the Simple Delivery label using the following link but please note it can take a while for the refund to be processed:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
If you were to go ahead and use the original label then, as you selected the label size yourself, eBay states that they may, if underdeclared, charge you for the difference plus a £1 admin. fee.
Are you sure the label says 'Small parcel' on it? Simple Delivery labels don't usually state the size.

You are right....the label doesn't say the size of parcel on it......but if that was the case anyone could just ask for a small parcel label and then stick it on ANY size parcel to save money. There must be something that would be flagged up at the Post Office counter when they scan the bar code before giving you the receipt if the size of the parcel looks suspicious. I'll try for another label.
Thank you.

it happen to me. 1st mistake ebay pays the different, but then ebay send you a warning not to let it happen again.
