I bought the postage label through ebay (postage payment shows as Shutllmite on my bank statement) to send my item on 24hour delivery via ParcelForce. It arrived 4 days late(!) and I now want to seek compensation. On the Parcelforce website it says I can only claim if I booked postage directly through the ParcelForce website. However, there appears to be no way to claim compensation via ebay or through Shutl for the delayed delivery.
Does anyone know how I go about making a compensation claim?

I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this situation. I’m in your situation too, sold an item, dropped the parcel on the 14th at the post office, Parcelforce marked it as collected, and tracking never changed since then. Dozens of calls between ebay and ParcelForce, neither want to take responsibility. Case is now closed and had to refund the buyer. I have open a claim on Resolver.co.uk as suggested by an eBay agent, but it’s useless, it’s just an interface with no real humans behind, it just re direct you to the claims website for Parcelforce.

Hi thanks for the reply and sorry you've not had much luck finding a resolution.
To answer my own question, go direct to Parcelforce. If you buy the postage label via ebay then you still claim compensation through Parcelforce directly. My issue was resolved and the claim approved. Hope this helps others in future.
