I generated a Royal Mail large letter shipping label for a customer return via the Royal Mail website. The tracking number doesn't seem to be recognised by Royal Mail's own tracking web page. Is there some kind of special relationship with eBay that makes their shipping labels from Royal Mail have a working delivery confirmation number while those generated directly on the Royal Mail website do not?
The reason I used Royal Mail's website instead of the eBay generated returns label was because eBay seemed to insist on using a small parcel label when a large letter would be adequate and less than half the price.
