Suddenly being charged for postage labels

Could anyone please clear this up for me. I have been happily selling a few items over the last two months and have always just received a QR code with a six digit code to print a postage label off at my local shop.
The last two items that I have sold sends me to a link to pay for a postage label. My buyers have  already paid the postage so I don’t understand why I am also now being asked to pay to print the label off all of a sudden. I have checked all my listings and they are all set to buyer pays postage.

I just don’t understand why this has changed without me changing anything. I’m laughing at my sale this morning as I will be practically paying for someone to buy it! Think I make 4p!! 😂

Can anyone explain please!

The item sold this morning and the bag have been listed with custom postage not eBay simple delivery.

Your buyers payment should include the charge for postage which you use to get the label.

Suddenly being charged for postage labels

Thanks for your speedy response
I have no idea how the items were set to custom postage as I just follow
the same process to list items. I always use Simple payment. I did notice
as I was checking all my other items that some had changed to collection as
well as posting. Could items be changed without my input? I am new to this
so obviously have much to learn... however it is costing me money!😂
The buyers payments do include postage but I have also had to pay to print
off the postage label which has never happened before. It feels like
between myself and the buyer we have paid twice for postage. If I chose to
use custom posting- which I wouldn't have done deliberately- would I then
add on extra to the cost of the item to cover that?
Thanks again

The buyer pays the item plus the postage, you pay upfront for the postage then when the buyers payment clears you receive the total of item+postage price
