Postage

Today I have been buying & selling on eBay for 25 years  but this SIMPLE  DELIVERY  will be the end for me .I am 80 so I don’t intend to have to carry heavy parcels from my car to  the post office . At present my postman collects , will call back if necessary or I can find him if I have an extra parcel. 

In my opinion SIMPLE DELIVERY discriminates against the disabled , elderly & those without transport. So it will be goodbye eBay & hello to others

If you read the email sent out this week, and follow the link to get more details, it does say that you can get items collected if you send with RM.

This is from the FAQs:

Can I arrange for my item to be collected?

Collection is available with Simple Delivery through Royal Mail. If you'd like your sold item to be collected, make sure Royal Mail is selected as one of your preferred carriers. Once your item is sold and after you've generated a prepaid label on eBay, book your collection on the Royal Mail website.

Thanks for the info , but I would like to be able to buy my labels myself & the postman bring them ,not having to print them myself .

That possibility, '  buying labels myself ' , is taken out of our hands now, from the 15th  all postage has to be brought through eBay when Simple Delivery becomes mandatory for Private sellers.

eBay dictating , they get the labels wrong , I have had “we can’t find this address  I can find it . The address will show city of Glasgow followed by the street address , it should be the other way round .

I assume that the postman can’t bring the label anymore .

I am not in favour of Simple Delivery at all,  in fact with a sadness I'm delisting everything on the 6th, as I do not wish my hard working peeps in my little PO to earn just a few pence from each parcel, not many I admit,  I present to them.
