I had an item on auction, with 2 postal options, Standard or Registered. Standard was stipulated in my description as having "no tracking, and at own risk". The buyer shose the standard option, which I then posted, and got a Cert of Postage from the Post Office. The buyer then contacted me saying the item never arrived. I explained that Covid has caused delays, and that the postal option chosen was at own risk, with no tracking. Buyer then opened a case against me, won the case, which I appealed. eBay, then ruled against my appeal, as I didn't provide a tracking number. Buyer was the refunded. 3 days later buyer contacts me, saying item arrived, and he now wants to pay me. I was livid with the whole situation, and eBay's handling thereof, and told him that he has already been refunded, and that the item is again my property, and that he should send it back, and that I would pay for the postage. The buyer then gave me "Final Notice" days to provide my Paypal details to him within 2 days, so that he could pay. I explained that I am not interested, and would like the item back, and will reimburse him for postage. I contacted eBay about this, as I don't appreciate been given ultimatums, and am still furious about the whole transaction, and how it ended. The buyer is now ignoring me, and not answering my request for the tracking details and his Paypal details so that I can reimburse his postage costs. Am I been totally unreasonable? I am at the stage where I am now prepared to challenge this through the legal system.
