I place a bid on a handbag yesterday  for £38.00 - there were two other bids at the time.  There was no option to make an offer against this.  I've just had an email from ebay asking me to make an offer for the same handbag for £64.00.  It's title is slightly different .   One says 'Agnes' and  the other says' Agnes b Leather handbag' but it's the same bag, same photos and same seller. Hi.  I ordered two records from a buyer. I asked the seller if they would combine postage if I bought the two. They said they would but could I pay for the two items first with the original postage and they would refund me later. Despite repeated requests they never did refund me any postage. To top it all when the 2 items arrived one of them was not what I ordered. I contacted the seller to tell them that the parcel had arrived containing one item I ordered and one I didn’t ( they were 2 records with similar outer covers). When I emailed the seller again to inform them that not only had they still not refunded me to PayPal for combined postage but that also one of the records they sent me was not what was ordered the seller replied with a vague message stating that ‘they would sort it’ or words to that effect and that as regards the postage issue they would ‘check that’ too. As they didn’t state anything about sending the correct record out or refunding me instead and also once again they hadn’t refunded me (or at least discounted) me for combined postage I decided the next day to send a request through the eBay request system. After receiving the eBay request they have now refunded me to my PayPal  account for the record they didn’t send plus the original postage. However they are asking me to rebuy the original record that they didn’t send and that they will send this with stamps enclosed to send the one they sent by mistake back to them. To be honest I feel that because they seem to have acted in bad faith as regards to the combined postage issue (the two original records arrived in one package and this package would have cost the same to post with either one or two records in it) I now don’t feel that I should reorder the record that they failed to post in the first place. I also don’t see why I have to go to the trouble of posting the record that was sent by mistake back to them even if they supply the stamps. Hello there I have bought an item which I’ve had to return, however I didn’t send the item back using the pre paid label as didn’t have facilities to print the label, I sent the item back 2nd class but the seller is refusing to give me a refund as I haven’t got a tracking number, I’ve tried to ask ebay to help out but all the automated help assistance is saying I need to return the item because I’ve not entered a tracking number, I’ve tried to email ebay but because the item has ended I can’t enter a item number is the subject for the email to be sent. has anyone else had this problem? Got a message saying item was being posted yesterday then get a message today saying they are unable to ship that it will cost £83 and if I want it to pay this for postage? Hi,  I purchased a set of genuine alloys in Aug 2020. The wheels have been on my car less than 6 months and have already started to corrode.  I have only used soapy water to wash them.  I took the wheels to a professional alloy repair workshop and they advised its the lacquer that has been used.  I have contacted the seller with pictures but haven't heard back yet. I cant seem to raise a case or ask ebay to help as the purchase was made over 90 days ago?  Can anyone help? I dont see how I should be out of pocket for alloyes that have been coated incorrectly, less than 6 months on the car and are now corroding!  Thanks  Carly  ... View more

SO having a nightmare, purchased a desk back in October that never arrived ? I have been chasing the seller for a refund now for 5 months , the seller has now removed the item form the listing and I cant get ebay to help because its not in my purchase history. and cant follow the online protocol, I cant get hold of anyone at ebay and the seller is now refusing to answer my calls despite telling me for the last 5 weeks they will be refunding me. I am £90.00 out of pocket and  cant even ask anywhere online for ebay for help its disgusting, been a regular loyal buyer for years always left decent feedback when deserved and feel like this whole process is set up to protect sellers and leave buyers at risk of losing money ???
