Bought 2 carved candles on 1at December for Christmas presents. Seller marked dispatched est. Delivery 8th-9th Dec. However, after 12th Dec still no sign of them. I contacted the seller who told me they take 7-8 days to make.!! I presumed they had already been made. Seller should state this in the description. Really cross about it. I purchased an item which was sent to me on the Royal Mail tracked service.  I received an email saying the item had been delivered at a time when I know I was at home, the item was definitely not delivered. i contacted the seller and as the item was posted, EBAY have determined that I have to stand the loss of my money and goods.   Do I have any avenues of redress here?  ... Hi thanks to you people, I now know eBay have no interest in overpriced items. My question is, is there any way to alert potential buyer about this? Just come across an item being sold by Boots for £2.99 with a number of eBay sellers pricing the same item for £8+, plus charging £4 if item cannot be delivered and another £4 deduction for something else, which I can't remember because it's way past my bedtime. The seller keeps stating that my oreder was delivered and gave me tracking number, but I have never received the order! I guess the courier deliverd it to another person, but I cannot find him! I have just cut and pasted onto a post to  buying on ebay answers and you have said I need to correct something.  It is an email that came from a seller and I cannot make head or tail of it.  I downloaded it but McAfee would not allow me to open it and blocked it.  Now I am afraid I have downloaded something which did not come from ebay.  It is not in my messages and does not have a copy of the listing.  If it is the disability hand splints, I thought I was buying from UK. ... Hello,   I recently bought an item, to be fair I did not check the feedback closely - my fault.   Paid for the item, no response from seller. Emailed seller to ask if dispatched, no response from seller. Emailed again, no response. Delivery estimated date passed, no response and no item. Went to open request against them - seller has left eBay!   What can I possibly do now to get a resolution? Hello all,   I've bought an item on 11th December from seller hihome. The seller claims to have UK stock. The seller contacted me on the 12th saying - "We are very sorry to tell you Due to the messy system of the logistics provider, the wrong shipping order number was uploaded . Now we are very sorry for this, But you don’t worry, we have already shipped the package" They provided a DPD tracking number and wrote that the parcel would possibly be a little late due to covid.   Today I have recieved a message on eBay that the parcel has been delivered to my adress by Yodel. Different tracking number to the one I was given in the sellers message. The parcel has not arrived, but according to both ebay and the yodel website, it passed through a depot in London (I live in Bristol, not London) and was then delivered (no mention of to what adress on the Yodel site, weirdly).   When I search the tracking number the seller gave me on DPD, it claims the package has been picked up by DPD Deutschland.    If this was an honest mistake, I'm confused by - a) why I'm being told my package has been delivered b) why the supposed real package is in Germany, when the seller has "UK stock"   I have contacted the seller today. Hi all. Has anybody else had issues when contacting a seller? I spoke to the help team via telephone and she said that some messages are not getting through and thet eBay knew about the issue and were looking in to it. I recently paid for a Buy it Now item, and a couple of days later I got an email ebay saying that there was a problem with the seller and that they had removed the listing. When the item hadn't arrived a couple of days later and I asked for a refund which was done.   A week later the item was actually delivered.   How can I pay the money back to the seller? They have no more items listed and do not reply to messages, and it is impossible to contact ebay.   I don't know what the ptoblem with the seller was, it looks like it was their first listing and maybe unfamiliar with the process, but eBay told me that there was a problem and I acted accordingly, but it seems unfair not to pay the seller when I have received what I originally paid for. ... Now when listing 'ending soonest' the auctions show first, then you have to go to page four of the subject I am searching for to find the buy it now items and these no longer show how much time is left until re-listing.  If this is a permanent feature I am sure I will be buying less on eBay.  Please tell me it is a temporary glitch. ... Bought item on November 15 on 'best offer'. Contacted seller (In Spain) on 28.11 as it had not been dispatched. Replied that he had been in quarantine, had work and a backlog to catch up on, item has still not been dispatched (Dec 15) I have contacted twice in the meantime with no replies and seller has had 3 more negative reviews for items not received, he now has no items for sale.
