2 carved candles. Marked as dispatched but hadn't even made them !

Bought 2 carved candles on 1at December for Christmas presents. Seller marked dispatched est. Delivery 8th-9th Dec. However, after 12th Dec still no sign of them. I contacted the seller who told me they take 7-8 days to make.!! I presumed they had already been made. Seller should state this in the description. Really cross about it. Oh yes, today is the 18th Dec and I still haven't received them !!!!

If you still haven't done so by the time you read this response open an Item Not Received case in the eBay Resolution Centre to get your money back.  The seller then has three working days to sort the problem out with you before you can escalate the case to eBay and get them involved if necessary.  If you receive the candles in the meantime and you have no reason to open an Item Not As Described case then you can close the case manually from your end and that will be an end to it.  However, in the event that the candles do not turn up and the seller refuses to refund you voluntarily then escalate the matter to eBay on the fourth working day after you opened the case and eBay will force a refund of the money that you paid to the seller for the candles.
