I've recently been on to support about eBay's "10p Per Order Fees For Sales up to £10 in Selected Categories" not applying on my sales within the 'Collectables' category. I'm currently being charged 0.25p fixed (down from 0.30p because of my shop tier) rather than (what I believe should be) 10p on sales under £10 in the 'CCG Individual Cards' category which is within the 'Collectables' category.
Here's more information about the order fee:
https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ads/2022/10p-order-fee/
Support just told me because it's in a 'nested' category within 'Collectables' it doesn't apply. But all the categories they've mentioned on the page above are top level categories that you can't actually select - you would have to select a nested category for all of them. It specifically highlights 'iv. Collectables (#1)' as an eligible category; of which 'CCG Individual Cards' resides in. You cannot just list something in 'Collectables' or 'Antiques' or 'Art' as they're top level.
Does anyone have any experience of what is and isn't eligible for this 10p order fee and some clarity on the categories system eligibility. I really don't understand why I'm not eligible but was just given a firm 'no' by escalating the support call.
NB: As an aside, the first support agent told me it needed be in TWO categories to be eligible - which contradicts absolutely everything on that page.

Any ideas?

Still following up with support here, all agents with different strange reasoning why I'm not eligible, one referencing the variable rate table on the previous page (which has no impact), one mentioning it needs two categories (doesn't say that anywhere or make any sense), and the escalated manager telling me it specifically needs to be listed on the categories on this page (https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ads/2022/10p-order-fee/) not a nested category. He said because 'CCG Individual Cards' is nested under 'Collectables' it doesn't qualify, and would have to be listed in just 'Collectables'. Trouble is, you CANNOT list items in these top level categories as they're all the very top level categories, you need to drill down and select a category! Persisting with support to try to wrap my head around this, but if anyone has any clarity I'd really appreciate it!

UPDATE: A support agent agreed it isn't clear at all. Now raising an IT ticket to rule out if there's a system issue with my specific 'CCG Individual Cards' category, reporting back in 48-72hrs

What year is it?

"... from 1st February 2022 are eligible"
FROM being the key takeaway, there's no end date stipulated if you're suggesting it's exclusive to 2022

UPDATE: 2x of my ~30x sales since switching to business have come through as the correct £0.10 ... so it definitely is POSSIBLE. For some reason the system isn't giving me it the majority of the time though. At least I now have proof that my listings 'should' be eligble.

UPDATE: 4 more support calls, now confirmed to be a bug and being investigated by IT

UPDATE: Was yesterday advised the issue was fixed, however today have just had an order come through and it is indeed still overcharging me on listing fees. Would advise anyone else facing the same issue to put pressure onto support and make them aware of the situation.
