I know this is on the front page but maybe people havent seen it.
Birmingham 12th of September.
I went last year and I'd say its great, even for a business seller who has been around for a while, you can enroll in smaller seminars on certain topics which may help with sales and you can ask questions as theres only around 20/30 people in them unlike the main hall which has hundreds.
Also a good time to catch some of the bigger bosses from eBay who claim that we are the lifeblood of eBay and sadly have no knowledge of any issues when you bring it up even though its passed onto the relevant teams. If anyone went to the Roadshows I personally would say its a totally different vibe, this is far from the timeshare sales pitch that was.

If you've ever done the US open, which is all online this year so anyone can sign up, the UK open is taking onboard some of the elements - like prizes and rewards for participation.
If on the mobile you click on the bottom right three dots theres a fair few more bits, including exclusive rewards.
Also from the more three dots menu is a list of sellers that is tagged by eBay by seller category so potentially you can meet with others in your category. You can exchange business cards and hopefully if people upload photos it'll be easier to spot those you want to speak to.
The other feature thats worth mentioning is the QR scanner, I believe it can be used with the virtual business cards and for scanning stands/ presenter information etc during the event.
Something I forgot to do a couple of years ago is put a link to the system on my mobile. I work 95% desktop and booked sessions desktop, then couldn't remember the url or sign in details when on my mobile at the event - very inconvenient and foolish! So i'll mention it to hopefully save others the potential inconvenience.

Its my understanding it isn't downloadable - you can just bookmark the url to your mobile homescreen

I think I saw somewhere people can watch it 'virtually' online, am I right?

Yeah you can, I'm trying to look for a link or something but as I've registered as attending in person everything is already in for em and it says registration closed, surely virtual doesnt have a limit.
This link may work for you, its the 'app' for the open event.
Hopefully I've tagged them correctly and one of the community team can help out too

Someone who attends please ask why 10-15 years ago we used to get 150 odd Feedback a month, but now only get 20 if lucky and sales have taken a dramatic dive, whereas their fees have skyrocketed ?

I'm here. Finally got here and not a single hot drink in offer unless you arrived early. Absolutely disgusting I can't get a hot drink without walking away from the sessions I want to attend. It's been reported twice now and still nothing. A networking area is great but you can't get a drink. Baffling.

Actually 12.34 I've ended up kicking off and gone in a private staff area where someone has made me a cuppa as I'm about to have a break down.
