We have over 200 ebay listings with Zero Sales all Bank Holiday Weekend.
Ebay was once our best selling platform but since start of 2025 we are going downward with sales. Our sales were exceptional last year but even though we are advertising both paid and General still sales are not hitting.
What is the result of this downward decline - Has anyone else noticed it. We are now paying over £50 to ebay everyday for Promoted listings but getting no Sales.
Please share your thoughts.

The message you have just left says that you don't have any listings.

I only get views or watchers imo (because I don’t know how the stupid algorithms work) when I have something on someone’s saved searches or I list something at a *bleep* price that many may be interested in
for over a year views have been controlled
before then I used to get several
now I have items listed 20 days ago with zero views
that’s not normal
because people view for all sorts of reasons not just when they’re looking for something

We are totally dead. EBay is finished and we are going to close our store

Tons of you-tubers with 1000s of views showing how to apply stickers for bikes, cars, motor-home, boats etc.
Many of which have a link to buy in their description.
Said it before and will say it again. Costs nothing but time to try, and give yourself more on-line exposure

I’ll be cancelling my shop subscription at the end of the month on my business account.
First quarter sales are down by 50%.
Switched promotions off already. Ending listings as they come up for renewal.
Sales on other platforms are good.
I listed a collectible vintage item on here (I had 5 of them) and on the V site. Sold all 5 on there in 3 days, eBay no traffic, no interest, nothing.
I do think this chaos has been created by the changes being rolled out inefficiently, with so many glitches and lack of communication.
It’s bumpy and messy, but I’m not investing my time and money while it transforms into whatever the future of eBay is.

488 listings, 16 sales between Friday 00:01 and Sunday 23:59. Was 20 for the same time last week. Standard variance.
Nobody can really help with your listings, OP, as nobody can see them. £50 a day for promoted listings with 0 sales is madness.

I think the shouty social-media stuff that's been going on since all the changes has also had an effect :
Yeah I know the BPF, SD and payment hold stuff that's being shouted about *doesn't* affect business accounts.
But, let's be honest, an awful lot of social media users will just see the message 'ebay is now carp' and not read any further. And consequently go somewhere else to do their shopping (they've got a lot of choice these days that they didn't have before )
Even my husband's staid and slightly scholarly coin-collecting forum has been pretty gobmacked by the mess ebay have made. (and it usually takes no less than a 1954 penny to get them at all worked up!)

People are currently boycotting eBay due to the site changes and other financial reasons.
