So i sold a item, buyer sent me a email sayimg he has paid by echeque with his address shown in the message, however i can see no payment pending in paypal, i called paypal who told me looks like fraud, i told the buyer that echeques can take upto 10 days to clear, he then sent me a email with a screen shot on his phone with my item marked as paid, now i know its not that hard with photoshop to make it look real. ebay cannot protect me as a seller! I sold the item for £380 yet because of COVID the item was stuck on departure department for over 2 months, The Buyer has opened a case and ebay have given the buyer a full refund. Now the item has been deliver to the buyer However, the buyer doesnt want to pay. Ebay is no help, and dont have an extending policy for COVID situation. How can i get the money back or the item? Ebay have just sent me a message to say if I don't register for managed payments they will resrtict my ability to list new items. I didn't want to go onto managed payments because I rarely sell stuff for over £10 and when I work out my bottomline after the new ebay fees, VAT, postage costs I end up with less than I would if I stay with paypal. I would also prefer the money being transferred once a month into my bank account and not daily or weekly. Doesn't seem fair that they are forcing you to accept something that will make you worse off by saying they will restrict your listings if you don't accept.  ... View more

On 10th June I sold an item which was posted on Friday 12th June. On 18th June , the following Thursday, she left me feedback and asked me to leave her feedback when I had time. This was followed by another message on 22nd June again asking me to leave feedback as she wanted to get 1000 100% positive feedback by the end of the year. Today I got a further message asking me why I was refusing to leave feedback! She went on to say that if there is a problem she will get Ebay to intervene! I appreciate that Ebay won't get involved but how can I make it clear to her that it is not acceptable to hassle people for feedback.
