Selling outdoor table and four chairs. 2of chairs need repair where rattan has started to come undone but still very useable. I stated this in my description and also buyer ‘must take away full set’. Received a bid but she said not taking all 4 chairs if she wins the bid.
help!
It's up to you to sort this out with your buyer. You're selling the item without reserve, and the starting price for the whole set has already been met.
Personally, I think you're being a bit cheeky, expecting your buyer to provide a rubbish removal service as a condition of buying the two good chairs. This might explain why you've only had one bid.
If she is prepared to pay "IN CASH" the full price for two chairs, why refuse.
Having two damaged chairs will seriously damage your chances of selling in any case. Once sold and paid, dispose of the damaged ones or list on their own as they would appeal to a completely different sort of buyer.
Even if you only got a few pounds, you could end up with more than selling as a Four.
If your bidder is bidding despite going against your condition of sale and even having the cheek to tell you, I would be cancelling her bid and blocking her from bidding.
