Two offers received on one item from the same ebay user within 24hrs.

How is this possible?

Because I have not declined the first offer.

You can receive many offers on the one item,   they will only stop when you accept one,  offers expire on their own after 4 days.

Even if an offer is accepted,  if payment is not immediate,  the item stays on sale and on offer,  until payment is received.

@flubb_8 To my knowledge it is possible for an offer to be retracted and then another offer made by the same person.

Appreciate the responses, @wintersdawn1 the first offer was still pending and was not retracted. 

The same potential buyer making 2 offers in 24 hours is not possible, I had this confirmed by an ebay rep.

So what is going on?

The ebay rep has contradicted what has actually happened but I'm not surprised as they don't know the difference between their a-hole and a hole in the ground.  They are also masterful b/s'ers and pathological liars.

The only other thing I can think of is another 'glitch', ebay seem to be having a lot of them lately.

The eBayer must want your item & decided to put in another increased offer, seems okay to me.

How do you know it's the same user ?.I didn't think the member's user i'd. was shown until after an offer had been agreed through Ebay.

Something to do with doing an off Ebay deal.

Obvious - post 8 shows the buyers name on both offers

Someone bid on it, which expired the first offer. Then they retracted the bid.

The person that made the first offer then made a new offer.

You can see the bid and retraction on the bidding history.
