Promoted listings is a waste of time and money (your money.)Far better
to just refresh your listings every few weeks (using the 'sell similar
option) and completely do away with promotions of any kind.

You are confusing RRP (recommended retail price) with retail value. They
are not the same. The retail value you place on your stock is the price
you expect to get for it, not the value someone else thinks you should
get for it.
