NEGATIVE FEEDBACK REMOVAL REFUSED

Hi everyone its just getting frustrating with eBay and wondering if anything can be done or someone else have experienced this before, we sell parts and every part we sell we check the fitment by asking customer the car registration so that customer gets accurate part, recently we sold a part which was not compatible with customer car and we informed the buyer that part doesn't fit therefore we will cancel the order and the part he required we dont sell. This buyer left us a negative feedback we tried to get it removed by filling up form and explaining but it was rejected. Please if anyone can help or direct on how to get it removed because its not our fault as the buyer bought something which doesnt fit.

NEGATIVE FEEDBACK REMOVAL REFUSED

Sadly common sense went out the window a year or so ago.

This is our experience.

Customer asked if one of our charms would fit a Pandora bracelet.  

We directed them to buy the charm and the fitting together and we could connect and send fitted together.

Customer purchased only charm and no fitting.

We cancelled the order and messaged the buyer with instructions again stating that it won't fit a pandora.

The buyer left negative feedback.

At the time I thought Ebay would see common sense but they admitted there was nothing they could do.

I asked what should I have done.

Ebay said they bought the charm and even though it wouldn't have fitted that is what they ordered and I should have sent it knowing it wouldn't fit.

IF the buyer THEN left NEG FB relating to NOT FITTING then it could have been removed.

 

Nowadays, if something like this reoccurs then I will send the item as per the order.

So far, we have not had a repeat, but at some point it will happen again and as you learn over the years, whatever platform ebay, amazon, TikTok etc, you have to follow THEIR rules!

 

You might get lucky phoning Ireland and an ebay employee that will bend the rules a bit but their hands are tied tighter and tighter.

Thanks and sorry to hear that, so we are not the only one in this, some people does this intentionally firstly eBay wants to pay extra to promote listing and make money extra then when it comes to customer service its ZERO, 7 out of 10 people working doesnt even know eBay policy or know how to deal with different issues. Also the people working for eBay to deal with feedback and other issues which is so called automated system are clueless and not familiar with system they are there to FILL the space.

Is it the negative stating ...... ordered a part never sent just refunded ?

 

Then,  this could / should be removed as it breaks feedback rules by mentioning a refund.

 

Contact eBay Customer Services,  but I strongly recommend only contacting them very first thing at 8 a.m. when the lines first open at 8 a.m. as there's more chance of Dublin answering.  Ask them to please remove the feedback,  as it breaks feedback rules   by mentioning a refund.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

 

As said,  I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
