In a nutshell as an eBay buyer I was due to have something delivered last Saturday between 14:00 - 16:00 and no-one from Evri came to deliver, we have a doorbell cam and I was in all day - on the Evri tracking I got the 'We're Sorry, w're not able to deliver your parcel today, but we will deliver it on the next working day.'.
So fast forward to today (Monday) it's after 8pm and Evri have failed to deliver; no Evri driver turned up to deliver and again I was in all day and the doorbell cam which detects motion will confirm that.
The only odd thing is that on the Evri website the item has no updates for today 22nd September 2025 but the eBay Evri tracking DOES have updates for today i.e. 'Mon 22 Sep - Due to be delivered today'. So there's this difference between eBays and Evri's own tracking update on my parcel, I even got an e-mail from eBay claiming that the Evri parcel was out for delivery today. So who is right ?
I have little experience with Evri, in the few times I've used Evri it's been ok, the driver sent me a message and he arrived at the correct time and it was delivered ok but not this time; it's almost as if someone is scanning the item and not even bothering to turn up to deliver it. What can I do about this as an eBay buyer ?
I believe Evri 'tries to delivery 3 times and then the item is returned' but I really want this item to be delivered to me.
I contacted the seller on Saturday and no reply, I'll contact them again tonight but will tomorrow be the last time ? What can be done about it so that Evri head office chases up the person dealing with the delivery ? Should I the buyer / receiver of the item cotact Evri early tomorrow morning via their customer support Web chat or phone them or is this in your experience futile ?
Any help and advice. I just want my item and it's strange that the Evri website tracking is not showing anything for today (Monday) but the eBay Evri tracking is doing so.
I include screenshots of both the eBay Evri tracking and the Evri website tracking to demonstrate what I've written above.

I've had this from Yodel several times (same parent company as EVRI). Personally I would have logged a complaint directly after the first 'delivery attempt'
EVRI seems to be having trouble meeting demand, and overworked delivery drivers get up to this kind of nonsense to save time, avoid missing targets, and avoid penalties. So it's important to flag it up straight away so that EVRI prioritize your delivery with drivers/resources they actually have.

Many thanks today at 8:30am UK time I logged an online complaint / incident with Evri via their chatbot and I requested that all correspondence be conducted via e-mail only. I got an incident reference code via e-mail and that's all. But today Tuesday 23 Sep 2025 there have been no updates from Evri for this parcel and certainly no more 'out for delivery messages' either via the eBay tracking or the Evri tracking side. So I'm guessing they're looking into it.
