Yes,Royal Mail started charging 30p per parcel for collections from today 01/05/2025

30p isn’t a massive deal breaker for parcels most of the time 

when they introduced pick ups I thought poor posties as if they haven’t got enough to do 

it is a bit of a deal if you have more than one parcel under SD because it won’t combine postage  and you have to send 3 different packages to same buyer that could go in one 

Should have been a notice somewhere though

I’m going to have problems as I’m ill most days with a stroke migraine and damage to my back from a real job  years ago as can’t manage carrying anything heavy as it affects my breathing.

for the post I’ve 8 to send off which will now cost an extra £3.40 on top of eBay fees and postage. I won’t be able to afford eBay.

Just spotted this myself, instead of the 3 items I was going to get collected it's just 1 now. Guess I'll have to either put my prices up or start going up to the post office now. I've not been in nearly 4 years!

Think I’ll use RM for heavy parcels only . I’ve got 12 LL to go out but I’m ill most of the time I’ve a stroke migraine which numbs up the left side of my body . So cannot feel anything under foot.

bit of a shock when doing the normal post last night ,as no notice from RM or eBay ? so spent yesterday printing & sticking labels and luckily passing main RM depo in town to drop off, so now we work in post with our trips out shopping or boot sale, (or the nearest one hour a week mobile PO 15.00 to 16.00 on a Thursday)
