Hello eBay Community, I would appreciate your help with the following. At the beginning of May, I sold some Lego bricks for £0.99 and posted them as a small parcel as standard second class delivery. While I got proof of posting at the time, I usually throw them away after a couple of weeks in the assumption that people would have got in touch if they hadn't received the item within that time. Today, I received an email from the buyer telling me that they didn't think they had received the item; this is 57 days after posting. This was followed by an email from eBay saying that the funds would be withheld. I found the letter surprising, given that the eBay buyer policy states: 'You have 30 days from the estimated delivery date to inform the seller that you didn't receive your item. ' Could anybody please shed light on the situation, particularly whether I would need to refund the seller? If the case was decided against me, would there be any point in appealing the decision? Any insights would be much appreciated. Thank you; I look forward to your response.
