Can I ask if any other seller has noticed that if a buyer cancels an order and you refund them that the refund amount you pay back to the buyer is more than the actual pending funds for the order? What I mean is, ebay take their fees, but only refund 70% of their fees back and you pay more on the refund than the pending fees for that same order on your managed payments I have contacted ebay last week but only reply back I have got is they have passed it on to managed payments as I provided proof of that a refund is more than actual pending funds, each refund that amount that ebay are not refunding is costing sellers more as ebay are refunding less fees For example, this is actual proof A buyer orders an item for £3.49 Ebay take their fees of £0.63 Pending Funds for order is £2.86 A Buyer cancels order as they realised they want it tomorrow for 2nd class post You refund £2.92 Ebay refund £0.57 Meaning, your paid more on that refund than actual funds, yes this is only 6p for a low value item, but that 6p per cancelled order will add up each month, but sellers that paying more fees for higher items and the order is cancelled then the seller will be paying more than they actually made for that item I only noticed this where the pending funds for the order was below the refund for the same order which the refund was more than pending funds and ebay refunded less fees Just wondering if any other seller has noticed this?
