Hi all, I hope you're all well and taking care. This is my first post on the eBay community pages, borne of frustration with a return (as the buyer myself) and as there is no option to reach Customer Services at present. I can't respond to eBay via the return case as the return has been accepted. In a nutshell, I buy and sell vintage NBA basketball jerseys on ebay UK and the US site. I have been selling for around 7 years and buying for 16+. In this instance I bought an item which turned out to have two small holes and plenty of stains to the front and back. The 2 photos in the listing are either taken at an angle or cropped so that the bottom few inches / hem isn't visible on either side, consequently nor are the stains or damage. This is in contrast to all the other photos of jerseys the same seller has sold or is selling currently, something I will present him with when the next accusatory message inevitably arrives.The description simply states 'Good condition with technical wear' in both Italian and English, so there is no specific mention of the flaws. The seller has been bombarding me with messages accusing me of swapping the item, also he won't budge on paying return postage and can't buy a label so is accusing me of trying to get a freebie in that regard. Bizarrely he has mentioned taking legal action and involving the Italian postal police (?) which I regard as nothing but empty threats. I have consistently kept it polite but business like when replying, reminding him I won't post the item until he sends me the postage costs via PayPal as due to this being an international sale, he can't buy a postage label, however he feels he shouldn't have to. All I want to do is post the jersey back and get my 75 Euro refund for the item cost and postage paid but I'm not budging on paying the return postage myself, for now and unless others advise me to do so. Has anyone else been in such a frustrating situation and is there any way eBay customer service can assist at this time? Any help or advice would be gratefully received by me. This guy is driving me mad quite frankly, you just don't need it! Thank you so much in advance.
