I received and email saying a sellers account had been hacked and was fraudulent. Eaby said if not paid do nothing. Two days later payment was made. Contacted seller who said 'ebay have blocked his account/paypal etc' I cant process a refund from Ebay as there are no links. Paypal wont assist either. Any suggestions please? Thanks ... View more

Hi. Purchased a 3d printer motherboard new. Went faulty after a couple of months, requested a return through eBay. seller closed case on me straight away. He got in touch and eventually offered a replacement but have been trying to sort this out with him from over a month. Says he has sent it and for me to chase it with post but is unable to supply details. He is a Chinese seller but item was sent from UK. So I bought a mirror from a seller on Ebay for £20 + £10 postage. I would assume as a seller it is their responsisbilty over the item and this mirror has arrived broken. I contacted the seller and he has raised a claim with hermes hoping to get £20 for the claim to pay me with. he has offered to pay me £10 for the cost of postage but will not pay me the other £20 unless hermes pay it to him first...    in my view he should be paying me £30 and just wait and hope on his end that hermes accept his claim and pay him the £20 whenever that happens if it does.    Is it wrong of me to expect a full refund for this? the mirror will have to be thrown away as it is not safe to use so i dont want to have paid £20 for litterally nothing.   What are your thought? how should i resolve this issue?      ... Hi, I recently asked a seller to cancel my bid ( £10 item no other bids). She waited until just less than 24 hours before auction end and messaged me - I can’t cancel less than 24 hours end’. I asked for a link to this ruling and was ignored. I have had issues with a seller on ebay I bought a dress but it was not as described the seller accepted the return after arguing over this. I'm having an issue with an order which was supposedly delivered by Hermes on the 28th May, but I have not received it. The Ebay seller is not helpful, keeps stating the same thing, 'tracking system says delivered'. I've opened a request for Ebay to look into this, but I don't hold out any hope of getting my money back because the seller has 'proof' of delivery and will not make a claim through Hermes. I've made an official report against Hermes via the Resolver website (helps customers deal with non deliveries). I can't escalate this case through Ebay customer services until the 12th of June, then I will phone them and ask for advice. I don't know what else to do. Clearly, the seller is likely to win the case because due to the incorrect information on the tracking system.
