Sale events not working?

As above, when I try and add anything to a new sale event it won't work. It comes up with 'unable to add sale discount, please try again'.

The listings are all eligible and I have done it plenty of times before with no issues, so it seems to be a technical problem? Anyone else getting this?

You appear to be in an eBay coupon at present the ALLYOURS10 campaign.

The last one I was in it was the same you couldn't set up a sale whilst in the coupon (the sale price and coupon stack)

Hmmm... not sure about this @ojewellery 

I can confirm that if you already have a sale event on, and the coupon comes in after, it does work. I deliberately time my sale events to run into ebay coupons to allow for stacking...

@sheba-knows-best I agree.  I stack offers, it works well. 

My last offer event a partial stock sale ran into it, both coupon and sale worked.  Then went to set up the next series of sales whilst in the event and couldn't.

I'll try and remember to come and back and update as I am due to start a new sale in the middle of an ebay coupon... possibly you are right and I will have to wait until it ends 😀

I'm also having this issue (I think). For me it has allowd me to create the sale event, the event is just not working and I cant tell why. It says it is active but when I go to my shop, the items do not appear to be on sale and the sale section shows no sales.

When I created the sale event I did have an active coupon. Its not visible from the shop because it is a welcome coupon I send to customers when they purchase and I have now deactivated it to see if this was blocking the sale event from working, but when I check I still appear to have no sale on, even though it shows as active in the back end. 

I'm very confused. Has anyone else had this?

My sale event is also not working. It is running, items are added, yet when you view the active sale it says not items are involved. 

eBay really needs to pull their finger out, half the time it is not working.

created 2 sale events in the last 2 days both have failed to show on our store looks like we are not having a black friday sale on our ebay store

It couple be a couple issues,

The price has been recently changed, a sale can't be run on an item if the price has been changed within the last 14 days, once the 14 days has passed the item will be added to the sale

The other reason is.

The item is a new listing, it's the same as above the item has to be live on site for 14 days without a price change.

Also check the sale start time, you have to select that you want it to start instantly. It will show the sale is active for whatever reason but the start time maybe a few hours, days later.

Apart from that I don't know, these have been the issues we have had when running sales.

i will give it a go again i don't think the items in it have been priced reduced in weeks
