Item with variations

Hi ,i am bit confused about how to list an item with varitation,if you could assist me i will really appreciate it

Just under the item specifics you should see this 

Click on edit and then choose or create the attributes you need, click continue then you can add the photos, stock amount and price for each attribute

Variations are not available on every category I don't think so if you don't see the option that is probably why

I think you need a to switch to a business account to be able to list variations. You're selling as a private seller.

Private sellers can use the variation option!...don't know how long for though...The clampdown on private accounts or business trading on them is in full swing....I do think HMRC have given ebay a nudge to sort this..{or else}.Revenue are loosing millions in tax receipts from this sales channel..
