Ebay Sales Completely Dead **November 2024** ‌

Hi

We have been selling on ebay for over 10 years. Sales have been down since start of 2024 but its completely dead. Like we look at our stats from July to September and sales figures are less that what we are paying ebay for Promoted listings etc.

Although we have moved our inventory to Amazon and tiktok but wondered what has actually happened to our Ebay. It used to be aweseome but we now cannot even afford to list.  Listings are sat there doing nothing even with promoted listings.

November has been our difficult month so far as with Zero sales i mean come on there got to be something causing this loss. Is it new so called AI.

I was invited by ebay and don't have to pay a penny.

It could just be selected sellers who get an invite.

To be fair for all the insider knowledge I'd have paid it, we've already made that back in less than 3 days.

Vat has to be added to the £399 so £479.

As I mentioned we didn't have to pay but I would if I had to, it's worth every penny.

We also are VAT registered so would pay the VAT anyway.

I’m the same, my sales last 3/4 month down 90% from last year, eBay have said there is no problem, just relist everything? Which I did 320 times,,,, and still no activity on my account ☹️ is it easy to swap to another platform? 22 years been with eBay and never experienced this so slow to nothing, lucky to sell 1 item per week,,

Maybe it's time to legitimise your business and you may get more sales.

Your in the wrong game, this is you're calling

Move to web design or online marketing for UI and UX and contact these companies with your experience and solutions, doesnt take much to fix their issues

The web designer will be one of these '£600 for three pages' off a roundabout at a motorway services or the owner that set it up years ago and did nothing afterwards except add stock

Helps you being a target customer too, most web people are guys and dry as shoe leather

You might want to look at who has been responded to, rather than jumping to conclusions!

I don't know where you have the idea that it was pointed at you, but I can see nothing on this thread before April, that you have even responded to!  And I'm not going back further.
