Recently all orders I send or receive contain a code that statrts with the word Ebay.....as if lost or stolen mail isn't a big enough problem, all orderts I now send have as good as *Ebay Shopping enclosed* as part of the address. My own shopping now also arrives with some ebay code on it. Todays was Ebayx4snzkl What does it mean, who does it benefit, and why draw attention to envelopes full of pricey contents, before they just looked like letters, but now anybody anywhere can tell that inside the envelope is something somebody paid for ? how does that decrease the risk of it being pinched in the post ? I would have thought it marks it out as an envelope containing something worth paying for, or am I missing the point ? ... View more

I often come across what appears to be the same fraudster who lists thousands of cars, vans, motorcycles and boats at a time using a hacked account.   Whilst I report as many of the items as I can, surely there must be a way to alert eBay to the entire hacked accound?   I can't seem to find it...can anyone help? ... Hi all.   Regarding Xbox series x and s and PlayStation 5 preorders. Is it not against TOS to sell an item you don't have and won't have for more than a set number of days. The release date is in November. So the item in question will not be under the buyer protection act as it will be far too late when it does come out. if so why isn't there a mod removing listings or banning/warning these sellers listings to do with those keywords until the dates of release ... Trust and Safety are asking me to provide them with a Certificate of Incorporation which is only issued once you register a Ltd company. I am self -employed and have told them that repeatedly , but they just don't understand what self-employment in the Uk is, they just repeat the same requirement- Certificate of Incorporation.   I am not legaly required to own a company in order to have a business account on Ebay. So I don't understand why are they so unprofessionl or why is Trust and Safety run by people who don't understand the issue?Any one has an advise on how to get through to them? ... View more

I think someone is trying to get into my account. they have sent me an offer message asking to contact them via whatsapp and writing the phone number with a space bar between each number. i bought a pair of motorcycle boots, these were new...after a couple weeks and only the second time of wearing them, the securing strap fell off and was lost..seller asked me to supply pictures, which i did, but has not responded to any of my messages...this has now been dragging on for 2 months as they were " out of the office "...i want a refund as these boots are not fit for purpose and possibly even dangerous to whom ever is wearing them...any help gratefully received ... Are members aware that Ebay are currently allowing hundreds of pre-sale listings which clearly breach their own policy to remain on the site?   I have provided Ebay with numerous examples of breaches including a pre-order listing for an item due to be released in late January 2021. Members who are ordering such items will in some cases be timed-out of the 30 day money back guarantee process. Moreover, they will not be able to return goods and feedback regarding the transaction cannot be left.   Comments are welcomed, especially from Ebay who have to date failed to remove any reported listings and nor have they responded to a formal complaint.   ... I have been receiving a lot of Ebay Return Items to the same Seller over the past few months. I was able to look up one of the items and found that the Seller is using my home address in their business contact information. I reported this Seller to Ebay (via the online seller report page) - now 3 times, in the past 2 weeks. And yet, I see no change - the Seller's page continues to show my home address - and I received another return item yesterday! Ridiculous, Unacceptable! Should I file a police or business bureau complaint? This is fraudulent behaviour as well as potential data privacy law issues - that Ebay does nothing to address. ... View more
