can someone help i seem not to be able to delete items that have ended!?! any ideas?

One option you could try, if you haven't already tried it, would be to log off of eBay UK and log onto one of eBay's overseas websites instead.  Whenever I've used this workaround solution to get around site glitches specific to eBay UK I've always used www.ebay.com, which is the American version of the site, and which I've always found to be very useful for successfully getting around eBay UK site glitches.

Once you've logged off of eBay UK and onto one of eBay's overseas websites try to delete the items that you no longer want on your Watch List.  If the items in question appear to have been succesfully deleted when you try to do this then log out of the overseas website and log back into eBay UK to check that they really have disappeared.  Hopefully the items should have vanished from your Watch List given that you deleted them earlier on, albeit via one of eBay's other websites and not eBay UK.  It may not work, but you've got nothing to lose by trying it to see whether it does solve the problem.

Thank you but I already tried that, someone else suggested it as well and like you said nothing to lose so I had a go but the items were & still are all there when I went back on the UK website. I have literally tried every way that's been suggested & I keep trying every day but the flipping things are still there.

I think you mean as a buyer with items you've been watching.  That is the one that's causing all the grief. 

There seems to be a problem with ebay software, I have had the same problem for over 2 weeks and despite reporting it to ebay all I got was their usual banal blah-blah response but still nothing has been resolved.  I wish everyone else would report it too - maybe ebay would pull their finger out then

Despite loads of suggestions & advice from other community people I still cannot delete anything, whether it's on a watch list, wish list or all buying ilist, whether it's ended or still active &, looking on community, there are a lot of others with the same problem.
