Order Discount Banners Not Displayed

Hi.

I've got an ongoing technical issue where order discount promotions don't display a banner on my listings or show correctly in the 'Sale' tab on my shopfront.

I raised this with customer services 3+ months ago and have had no resolution. I've contacted CS several times since and they say they will get back to me with upmost importance, but I've heard nothing each time.

I've just got an update on this, and I've been confirmed that no issues were found. Apparently, your listings were not set up with multibuy discount, which is why the banners are not displaying. If you think this is wrong, please feel free to come back to me with a couple of examples (2 or 3 item numbers for listings that you are sure you set up the multibuy discount), and I will be happy to escalate with them again.

Marco this is completely wrong. It's a promotion discount, not the multi-buy discount that is not working. The discount works for customers, so it's definitely set up correctly, it just doesn't display the banner.

Your message is completely contrary to a message I received from CS the same day, see attached picture.

I've also attached a picture of the sales tab in my shopfront that displays the promotion, but when you click it says there are no available items.

eBay seem happy to take my money for a shop subscription, but not solve the issue. Unfortunately CS agents all seem to be as gormless as the next.

Please escalate again whilst I haver another fruitless attempt to talk to someone who can actually solve this issue.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on the issue you reported. The tech team was able to confirm the issue you flagged with us, and it is currently working on it to get it resolved. Thanks for that, I do appreciate it. I've already been waiting 17+ weeks, so what difference does another month make.

It would be interesting to know if they have always been working on it or if my original request was closed as you stated above.

Hi, did you get this sorted? I have also noticed that there is no banner on my items in search results, yet other sellers do (order discount, buy 1 get 1 40% off, etc.). When I click on my listing, it's there a few scrolls down, just not in search results where it matters the most. I contacted customer service too and was told to become an eBay partner to have it displayed, yet it's still not there. I wish someone knew, as all my items rely on this promotion.

I still don't have the banner on my listing pages, but the sale tab on my storefront has recently started displaying the correct items.

I think progress is being made.

Oh, I see. Your issue is different—there's no banner in your listing. I'm having an issue with the search results banner. For example, if you were to search for "(A-Team DVD)," before clicking on any seller's listing, there's a little red banner at the bottom of Music Magpie's listing in the search results that says "(buy one, get one 40% off)." I don't have that banner.

Wow... you reported this over 3 months ago I'm sorry ebay still have not resolved this for you. The amount of potential sales you have lost within this time is unimaginable.
