International post

So we now have simple delivery within the UK and so we have to pay for our own packaging, travel etc. We have adjusted, as sellers - ebay's favourite people to hate - always have to adjust. But what about international sales? Since the introduction of Simple Delivery - which does not cover international deliveries - we can no longer invoice. This means we cannot send multiple items to the same buyer, and we cannot adjust postage costs to their specific geographical region (we can only select one region, so we have to select 'worldwide' until we know where a buyer lives). Likewise, a buyer who buys more than one item has to pay worldwide postage on each item (because we can't send an amended invoice) and wait the new standard 14 days from the date of postage for ebay to let us have their money and for us to then refund their overpayment. This will destroy all good relations between buyers and sellers, and prevent sellers from purchasing as they will, in some cases, have to pay tens of pounds over the postage costs. I have raised this twice with ebay help and they say it is a 'glitch'. I think that as usual, ebay is putting profits before sellers (as they always do) and they've been so desperate to make yet more money  with simple delivery and holding onto everyone's payments for as long as possible, they've used a 15 year old in his mums basement to programme the new postage situation and now the web site thinks that if you use simple delivery for UK internal postage then you are somehow also using it in part in some way towards your international deliveries. This is why there is no option to invoice on international deliveries, because the Web site hasn't been programmed to differentiate between internal and worldwide postage when applying the simple delivery rules. Utter garbage designed to destroy yet more innocent sellers and even buyers now, in the panic for another trillion in the bank. Well done ebay!
