Bypassing Ebay to sell off site

I tried to report a seller over the Bank holiday <not something I tend to do often> .

A private seller with around 10 listings, each showing multiples of the 'brand new' items on the back of their delivery truck, in their yard, with their business name, telephone number etc on a board, plus in the description stating they were a business & requesting they phone for enquiries them & that they only took cash or BACS payments.

I took this as a possible scam listing to rob people, although it may not be, but it is also against Ebay's policies.

Their response:

We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence.

Clearly there is something not working within the reporting system.

Yes, totally!

Actually, I've just checked again & the phone number is also in the description so I would have expectd it to be picked up automatically by the bots, or maybe that only happens in messages
