Condition Description / Item Condition Text-Box missing on draft listing page

Hi everyone.

I started making a listing page draft some days ago (am taking it slowly - am new to EBAY and still getting used to it + I don't have much time to work on it sometimes).

I can't remember if when I started the draft the text-box field "Condition Description" (or "Item Conditon" or "Seller Notes"? whatever it's called) showed up or not - I might have just overlooked it when I started the draft. Well a couple of days ago I noticed the text-box field "Condition Description", so I filled it in with my own notes about the condition of the product (and saved the draft). Today I open the draft again, and text-box field with my own item condition notes is missing (although weirdly it displayed when I select "preview"). However I made some changes to the rest of the draft, saved it (for later) and now my item condition notes are completely gone which is really annoying + every time I re-open the draft the text-box is still missing.

What is going on? Is this a recent bug, or is this because I am new to EBAY, and EBAY limits some features for new people? Incidentally I noticed there were many threads from years ago where people mentioned problems with missing "Condition Descriptions" and/or the text-box on their drafts / listings etc - is it the same thing? BTW, I am confident the problem is NOT the equipment / programs I use:

I don't use any kind of "EBAY app"

I use Windows 11

I use Firefox Browser (up to date)

My Firefox settings are setup so they should not affect any EBAY web-pages

My Adblock programs are OFF

My browsing history / cookies have been deleted

Can anyone help?

Note: the other text-box "Description" (the one with text formating and HTML editor) DOES show up. I could use the "Description" text-box for my own notes about the conditon of the item, but I would prefer my item condition notes were separate, and not the default text given by EBAY (which is too vague).

The listing tool can be a bit buggy.

I last had an issue when I was trying to list an item with variations. It seemed once you had saved a draft without choosing a variant, then it would no longer let you add one. I had to start it again.

I believe there’s also at least two types of views – a simple and a more advanced. The simple view only shows certain sections. There there are also certain fields that can be shown/hidden via the options for that section.

eBay are also changing the conditions for Clothes currently. So if it is an item of clothing, then that could explain the glitch.

If it’s none of that, then you may need to speak with customer services.
