After the weekends 48 hour tracked glitch I resorted to using a Royal Mail parcel postbox to post 3 parcels all with eBay generated labels. Didn’t really think it through because I have no proof of postage. Checked the RM app this morning and two parcels are showing as being in the system but one isn’t and now I have no proof of posting. It’s been 24 hours and the 3rd parcel still isn’t in the system.
what do I do if it never turns up ?

If it never shows up and tracking doesn't show you posted it, you will need to refund if a buyer opens a case.

The one time I used a parcel locker the tracking didn't start working until it reached the main sorting hub - it did not show up at HCN which is our local sorting and collection office as all other parcels do. It appears that lockers are not sorted in the first stage by Royal Mail, at least locally, but are sorted elsewhere and taken to a main hub or delivery office. Weird.
I have also noticed that with Collect + parcels can take an extra 2-3 days to be delivered.

This wasn’t even a locker it was a postbox but for parcels. There aren’t any lockers locally and I had to walk over a mile just to find this postbox. Two other parcels posted at the same time are showing up on the app but this one still shows it’s awaiting dispatch.
I really hate the new ‘simple’ system plus whoever forgot to upload the database to the post office needs a good talking to ( trying to be polite here)
And don’t get me started on the lack of combined postage 😂

Stay calm, this happened to me yesterday. This morning all three were in the system. Not delivered yet but marked as posted and on track. I didn't mention this to buyers. My P.O. issued old type postage certificates.
The problem seems to be with P.O. and I think the P.O. is going OK now. Get scanned at RM and you're done and will see tracking.
