Friday is catch up day . . . sending invoices to regulars that have built up orders, sticking unsold auctions into Buy It Nows etc.
Its also when some buyers has passed last chance saloon, and even after a reminder they haven't paid.
This week was annoying. Four time wasters totalling over £160.
So . . . cancel for non-payment, relist, add buyer to list of blocked bidders.
Got me thinking - how many are on that list?
Copy and paste whole list into ChatGPT, ask it to count them, check it again, and the total is . . . 428 names.
428 non payers. What a waste of time.
No doubt other sellers have more though.

I thought I had a lot - I don't use ChatGPT so I did a quick average of how many people are listed per line and then counted the number of lines.
I have about 250.
I block for non-payment, INR or INAD cases, cancelled bids and snarky feedback.
I also (sometimes) block members who post in the forum if they are clearly 'troublesome'.

Waste of time and bother banning
you cant stop the tide

Makes it worse sometimes we have had more than one buyer reacting to a ban
causing further problems

Ebay are quite strict with poor sellers
yet do little to control poor buyers

If you've got a comma separated list (which is what the blocked buyers list is) - use https://delim.co/
Paste the comma sep list on the right - then click the left arrow - it'll give you a list on the left. Then just count the rows.
Saves you a chat gpt water hungry request as well.

You cant fix a leaking roof with a bucket to catch the drips
Ebay need to do more, its their roof
