Relist query.

Today I ended 2 items and relisted using sell similar. These were BIN and instead of a 30 day time period I have only had 28 days on the listing. Have ebay changed the 30 day period to 28 days?

I presume this is because it's February, a 28 day month.

I know they call them 30 day listings in some places, but, when they were introduced, some people noticed that on certain months you may have to pay for a listing on the 1st and the 31st.

I'm pretty sure the listings were amended to monthly, although the 30 day terminology may remain in some places.

I was thinking that Vinylscot, but the cynic in me was thinking it might be something to do with the mandatory SD they are planning on introducing.

No, it simply depends on the number of days in the month in which you list because, If you list on the 2nd of a month, your listing lasts until the 2nd of the following month.

So, if you list on 2nd Jan you’ll get 31 days to the 2nd Feb.

But if you list on the 2nd of Feb, you’ll  only get 28 days to 2nd Mar….etc.
