Hi, I've had a sale this evening and within an hour the buyer has put in a cancellation request. The reason is apparently they have since found it cheaper elsewhere. It is annoying, but I'll accept the request to avoid the hassle. The issue is, I cancelled another order in similar circumstances recently (change of mind). The money for their refund left my bank account as soon as I accepted the cancellation request, yet I then had to actually wait 14 days to receive their actual (initial) payment. I am essentially refunding before I am even getting paid !
Is this the same situation with every private seller ? Again, looking at my payments now, without me marking the item as dispatched, the original buyer's funds wont be cleared into my balance till the end of the month. Even though I have done nothing wrong, I am the one inconvenienced and the buyer will receive their payment refund within an hour or so. This is annoying, lol. In the old days, the money was basically sent back and that was the end of it.
