Payouts on hold for no legitimate reason...

So my payouts are on hold. Not sure if it has something to do with ebay prompting me to give them my national insurance number??

Quite frustrating as the postage costs will come up to over 100£ as i sold a few items as i needed some extra cash for a holiday

Quite ridiculous, may take my business elsewhere after this

An update to my post #11.

Gob-smacked to find my item sold !!! 

First item to do so since May although I've listed continuously, regularly re-listed as Sell Similar all unsold to slowly increase the total number of listings.

Only £25 but as it sold on Monday the full payment was sent to my bank on Tuesday.

Amazed that I haven't been down-graded to Infrequent Seller after not selling anything for nearly 6 months and the money put on Hold.

Even more surprised that it wasn't  Held until I gave ebay my NINO.

I might even risk doing another listing at the week end as I only need to consider a Hold to get my NINO again.

That's good I just think the guy is trying to rip people off. eBay have stepped in now so should get my money back.

Ur good enough to act on here so why not give explanation to what's going on with the item. Or just refund me! I was good to buy the item.

Too many excuses, said there was no option to add insurance to postage (there is a drop down box to select any postage method you could want) all he had to do was select the postage, ebay send a QR code so he doesn't even need a printer.

Ebay were correct on this, send the goods and he would have got his money, I sell very rarely and get funds sent as soon as I upload tracking info or buy postage via ebay.

He's a joke. Can come on here yesterday and accept a reply. But can even reply back to me to what's going on!

So he won't even reply back or refund me so eBay have to step in now.what a messer you are. All because u spat your dummy out cause u was expecting the money before posting anything.

I’ve been using eBay for 22 years i a private capacity and have 100% feedback.  

eBay have suddenly withheld two payments of items I just sold.  They say I will get the money released when delivery is confirmed.  No reason other than security was given too me.  Text book fob off without a real explanation. 

I also notice that they now add mandatory buyers protection fees.  Sneaky. 

Time to look elsewhere for selling items.
