Evri Confusion not good for SD

Just tried to do a return label via Evri. They quote £2.62 small parcel then go to order process and tick £2.62 and continue and it changes to £4.79 for delivering to the address (and not a premium address!) So the cheaper prices are for delivery to a drop off location not a home.  Had to change to a Royal Mail label.  So do we assume when buyers are selecting their shipping choice they will get a long list of options whether delivery to their home of drop off point?  Or have Evri done a deal for one price or an average between £2.62 and £4.79?  By forcing the Evri option sellers may have to travel to a drop off hub and buyers could travel to a pick up point. Very ecological and pro net zero not!

What was the weight of the parcel?

I've been wondering how Simple Delivery affects returns. Will the seller have to pay the same 'Simple Delivery' eBay price for a return label? Will the buyer be able to book a RM collection for a return parcel?

More questions than answers, I expect... 😕
