Description
A small quantity of Ei3014 heat alarms were produced with plastic coverings
which incorrectly stated that they could also detect carbon monoxide. This
may result in consumers being unaware that the alarm they have installed is
for heat detection only and cannot detect carbon monoxide.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety
Regulations 2005.

Measures
Recall of the product from end users.
The issue has been isolated to a small production batch. Affected
consumers have been contacted directly.
