I always pay immediately and directly the sale or transaction has concluded but recently I’ve had so many problems lately with ebay sellers who are listing both ‘best offer,’ that it’s really pointless trading with them at all. The only good thing i can say is generally i haven’t come across one seller listing their goods on both auction and best offer, who has made more money by letting the auction run that they wouldn’t have already got paid long before had they not been so greedy and declined my best offer. Some of these bad sellers really are treating the best offer selection as some sort of game or to gauge the interest in their item. There s no doubt about it. They have plenty of time to respond. They obviously know if they will accept a ‘best offer’ or not. But they keep potential buyers waiting and waiting in the dark for an answer just for the fun of it ignoring their messages and questions, or not replying at all, while as buyers, we could be spending our money with someone else more genuine or in an auction. As far as i’m concerned now these idiots can shove it. They can let their stuff rot unsold on the buy it now or best offer for months on end. So much of it is now is on ebay anyhow. But when as buyers are genuinely considering buying gifts from ebay for somebody else and are prepared to pay a fair price we do not need this type of mucking about from bad sellers.
