Why can't I reply to my messages in ebay

I am trying to sell an item but I am unable to reply to my messages,  can anyone help please,  but why is it I can reply to messages from the accounts department

There has been problems with messages for a while and ebay know but it does not seem to get resolved.

What are you trying to say in the messages?.

Your item is collection and if you are trying to exchange any contact details with a potention buyer then it is against ebay policy

Ebay could take it you are doing an off ebay deal and you can be suspended or restricted

The buyer buys the item and then you will be able to exchange details

I wanted to sat that the ps3 has 3 ports

You have no bids on your item so can revise it to put that information on the listing. Go to the item in your active selling and click on the heading. Top left should come up with Revise listing. Add the information in fact you could give a much better description and also add more photos of the back of the item where the ports are. You can add 12 photos so give more close ups of what comes with the item like the controls etc. The photos and description is what sells the items. Also make the writing of the description a bit bigger.
