item not received

I never received an item and eBay closed the case because the seller provided a tracking number, that has nothing to do with delivery to me. The item was never delivered to me. The seller stated the item was sent to the collection centre, however, the item was never received and when I went to the collection centre, the item was not found even though I provided all the details. I need my money and the case investigated

When did you go to the collection centre?

If you went after 7 days the click and collect point will no longer need to hold your item and may have disposed of it as they wish.

Or,  when did you open the case for item not received?  This has to be done within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, opening it any later will close the case as will a valid tracking number showing delivery.

If the seller has proof of delivery to the collection point and you did not collect within 7 day then you lose buyer protection

Did you ask for delivery to a collection point rather than to your door? 

If no, you need to point this out to eBay 

But if you did ask for collection point delivery and you failed to collect within 7 days of delivery then you lose the right to a refund

I went there two days after receiving the email. The person in the store checked but did not find the item and said they had not received the item. I went again the following week and nothing was found

I asked for delivery to a collection point. The seller provided tracking to the collection centre, but the individual in the store could not find the item. I reported to eBay and they closed the case without providing any info on where or when I can receive my purchased item or provide a refund. That's unacceptable by ebay

Could you ask the seller if they have checked the tracking information, in case the item has been returned to them? Perhaps there has been a delay in delivery, over Christmas?  There should be some trace of where the parcel is.
