Nectar points pending but not added to account

I have made purchases on Ebay through the Nectar app to collect points. From 16th September until 12 October not all the pending points have been added to my account. There is about 21 transactions missing points added and still pending. Not sure what is happening as the transactions are completed with items received. I contacted nectar, but they told me to contact Ebay. 

Anyone else had this and know what I should do.

Thanks for all the replies and glad I am not alone. Any more news on nectar points not going into Nectar account. My Nectar points have now stopped going into my account agaon and loads still pending since the 25th October. I really want to know what is going on. I think it is Ebay, because they have to be approved by Ebay before points are credited?

Thank you for the email...I still have 38 outstanding ebay purchases and 1
wilko purchase between the 23/09/2024-27/10/2024 and 4 from November
2024.....All of them I have only received a pending email....

Sorry to see the last 2 comments.  Thought it was settled with not hearing anything. Also my last purchases were pending for 5 days before being approved and added to my points in another 5 days so It's a puzzle to work out why some work and others don't.  So things could change for me also if this is the case.   Definitely up to ebay to approve before Nectar can add to the account.  Will be looking out to see how you all get on.  Good luck.

Just wondering if any news on the points? Is there a form to fill out to complain as the points again have gone into pending and no credit to my account.  Very odd some go through and others don't, I have pending points and nothing added to my account since October 25th. This getting is ridiculous and really want to put a formal complaint through, but don't know who to.

I have raised a complaint via the call centre. The advisor gave me a complaints number and said it will not take more than 28 days for them to get back to me ? That’s after waiting more than 45 days for the pending points to be approved. I also got eBay to raise a complaint to the nectar point centre they have. Let’s see ? Not holding my breath but you never know I have moved a little. Will let you know if anything happens /. Moves

Thats it...I have tried everything with ebay and nectar and all I got was
stress...I am not going to worry about £25.00p worth of points...I will put
all the pending emails into their own missing nectar points folder tuck it
away and pray to Jesus for a miracle which are few and far between on Ebay
and nectar.Good luck to all of you who keep trying....

Please check the nectar pending email so that I am not seeing things. The amount for your purchases on your nectar email is different from Ebay amount. For example one of my purchases was £19.99, but on the Nectar email sent saying points pending the amount listed is £19.94. I am wondering is this why the points are forever pending? Just a thought.

Were you offered a few per cent discount,I had this with a multi buy and
there was a few pence different with the pending email and the ebay price
but I still got my points....

Hello everything again,

The points have stopped being added to the account again with loads of pending points. I have complained to Nectar and as I did notice when I was going through my account that the price you paid is different from the pending points email. One Ebay purchase was £11.50, but the pending points email said £11.53, odd for that to happen. I also had price a few pence less on pending points email as I mentioned before.

I still wonder if this is the reason for forever pending points, anyone else had the price listed by a few pence more on the pending email than what you purchased.

I have 1000s just pending but never approved. via eBay purchases.
Everything was working well with eBay and points until I had to return an item . After that I have had no points approved. I have looked into nectar and it says it can take upto 90 days for points to be approved to make sure no refunds will be made ???? Is this the reason for all my pending points ?
Well it’s been 60 odd days now since any points were approved so you never know LOL it might be a Xmas present. LOL.
I am not holding my breath. I have gone onto my credit card and using the 1% cash back Lloyds credit cards 1% cash back using the site to purchase eBay items + 0.5 cash back on all purchases. Nectar can go and swing it some where else. .00005 stars for Nectar and its customer services Lol 5 stars for Loyds

Everyone knows how the system works there just not getting  there points me included, was easy once you bought something you got your points , now it's log in to ebay through nectar following the list of criteria to make sure you get your points the wait and see if you ever get them, one big con now like everything, overcomplicated things to hope people give up or don't even bother.

Just a quick update, nectar is starting to approve my points from September as I had 33 approved emails this morning. So good news, lets see if it continues. Anyone else having old points approved?

Yes I have just had 26 approval emails and the points have gone over to account apart from one which has only just arrived,21 more Ebay ones to come from October and early November and 2 from the company that took over Wilkos mail order and 1 from Holland and Barret....Lets see what happens next month...

Everything was working fine for me until October 24th. All eBay purchases on and after that date have not yielded any points. You can't currently convert your points into vouchers on the app either. I've called nectar twice, but the customer service is appalling. I've been given conflicting information and have concluded that it's simply not worth the stress. I shall be redeeming all my points in store at sainsburys and then snipping my card and closing my account. Hope you get a resolution.

They are taking their time to pay,all my September points have now been
paid in and if they follow suit I am expecting all my October points to be
paid in by late December...Do not cut you card up yet...

Unless you don't want to both with Nectar anymore, they do approve the points. Just  have to be very very very very very very patient and wait awhile. I just had my points from September approved.

You can't convert Nectar points to eBay vouchers any more you have to spend them on the Nectar Partner sites.

Yes, sadly that has changed. Disappointed they did that as I convert my points quite a few times to ebay vouchers. Did Nectar have a big falling out with ebay or was it being abused in someway??? Just curious.

Just a quick update on pending points, some have been approved, but noticed they are not being credited to the nectar account. Some have gone into the account, but not all the 33 approved points from September have been credited. Anyone else having this problem?
