I have been trying to find out what other form of ID to confirm over 18. I do not own a credit card, yet that is the only form of ID requested.
Tried to resolve this this with Ebay Assistant, requesting other forms of ID that I can use.
Nothing helpful in response, anyone know of other forms of ID

Sorry, no other form of ID is accepted.
eBay require anyone buying any bladed item to have a credit card on their eBay account. This proves you are over the age of 18. Anyone of any age can own a debit card.
The only workaround for you if you wish to buy those items on eBay, is to ask a friend or family members who do have a credit card on their eBay account, to buy the item for you.

For the items ebay deems to fall under the bladed products/articles rules - they only accept sharing a valid credit card in your name.
They don't accept anything else.

Nope, they're aren't any others.
Ebay have decided to use credit card companies' proof-of-age processes, rather than pay to beef up their own.
Ebay's *own* site requires users to be over 18, but it's obviously such a rubbish system, they can't put any trust in it!

There's a very simple answer: buy your tools elsewhere. There are plenty of companies who use other age-verification methods, or simply don't bother to — though how long the latter will stay in business is a different question.
English Law requires Sellers of bladed articles to confirm that the purchaser is over eighteen. Sadly e-Bay have a much broader definition of "Bladed article" than the Law does. They'll also only accept a credit card as proof despite other methods being legal, and probably, better.
The whole thing's cuckoo as you could be sixteen and use your Dad or older brother's credit card, with or without their knowledge. There also nothing to stop an adult making the purchase and then passing the item to a child. In fact that's how teen-agers are going to have to get razor blades for instance.
