eBay

My wife has recently bought several items on her account using a debit card (Paypal) then got suspended for no reason. Called eBay on this but they refused to tell us the reason. However, this is not the main issue. The problem is that the items she paid for are now cancelled due to the suspension. She can't get the purchased items or refunds since she can't contact the sellers. We then contacted eBay and they said they can't do anything and suggested us to contact the bank. We contacted the bank and they suggested that the payment was processed by Paypal, that we should go ask them instead. We then raised an issue on Paypal but were met with a response saying that the payment can't be found, we should contact the bank and eBay. The cycle continues, So my question is, how can I resolve this problem? I can't just accept the fact that we have paid for items that we can't get and now we can't get out refunds back. Furthermore, given that eBay had already suspended my wife's account out of the blue with no explanations and is now refusing to deal with this problem and simply shifting responsibilities just makes us feel very disappointed. ...  Hi.  So I was browsing eBay last night when I noticed a lot of listings no longer offering click and collect. I thought this was a bit odd,  considering I remember the same listings had a click and collect before, but I thought maybe it’s just a temporary bug or something. However, I’ve been on again today and no listings are offering a click and collect option anymore.    Even if you filter search options with click and collect only, none of them are offering a click and collect. And when you go to pay, the only option is to post or collect in person, not click and collect.    Does anyone know what is going on? I mean, I know the standalone Argos stores had to close but I’ve been able to collect items from my local collect plus store for the past two months.  ... View more

My understanding of Duty on Privately bought items is that we would be charged GST on Imports from overseas. this would be at the prescribed rate of $15. My Question is why we are charged more than 15% on transactions. The tax should be on the Goods and not freight So why on a $40 items am I being charged $10.90 this is greater than 15% Ebay needs to be correct or they are profiteering on NZ Imports. Seller not responding to my messages and because its more than 90 days it Doesn't come up in my purchase history. The armchair had to be made 12-15 week turn around. That should of been ready for delivery before lock down. Made purchase in November eventually  received my sofa in April. Both paid for. I'm looking to buy an item for which the seller hasn't given an international shipping option, and they aren't on the GSP. I have family over there (actually in the same state as this item) which I could get it shipped to. Is there any issue with me adding their address to my ebay account?    So it appears that adding a US address to my ebay account wouldn't matter, and it's not possible to add a foreign address to a paypal account, is the solution for me to bid and then get the seller to paypal invoice me for whatever the shipping cost will be to my family in the US?    ... My daughter bought an item on 2nd May and it has not been delivered.  Seller is not contactable and is no longer registered.  Bought via regular credit card and not PayPal.  Cannot log a complaint with ebay because she ordered it without setting up an account.  Order number is 25-04957-23482 if anyone from ebay can follow up on it.  Otherwise will have to contact the credit card company. ...
