Click and collect option suddenly disappeared

 Hi.  So I was browsing eBay last night when I noticed a lot of listings no longer offering click and collect. I thought this was a bit odd,  considering I remember the same listings had a click and collect before, but I thought maybe it’s just a temporary bug or something. However, I’ve been on again today and no listings are offering a click and collect option anymore. 

Even if you filter search options with click and collect only, none of them are offering a click and collect. And when you go to pay, the only option is to post or collect in person, not click and collect.

 Does anyone know what is going on? I mean, I know the standalone Argos stores had to close but I’ve been able to collect items from my local collect plus store for the past two months.

Really annoying as I have bid on two items and click and collect has vanished and now I dont know what to do as cannot have the items delivered to the house! ?

I have seen other similar reports, some collet plus stores have been refusing ebay items,

so maybe ebay have stopped the service at the moment, but haven't seen any announcement about it.

@tobiasd4 It is strange isn't it, can't be coronavirus related as they announced in March that Argos Click and Collect points in Sainsbury's will stay open, as well as CollectPlus stores. I tried contacting support but just got a message that it wasn't available at the moment.

Others have said, shops are taking other companies parcels, but not ebay ones.
TBH I never use it as buyer or seller, too many issues.

What's even stranger though is that I've just been on my own listing and the click and collect option is there, but not for anyone else's listings! Weird.

Strange your listing is working.I've tried it through to checkout and my local Argos at Sainsburys is available

Just been on eBay this morning and I can see click and collect is back on an item I was looking at previously but wasn’t there before. Hooray! Hopefully the problem has been fixed. 🙂
