I've just bought an pair of Apple Airpods Pro from an seller on Ebay, they looked all and genuine from the pictures on ad but also before hand I had messaged the seller sevral times asking if those Airpods pro are real and genuine. I ended getting no reply from him as the price seemed to be a pretty good deal to me I have thought to purchase them. When I received the package, the box and everyhting looks exactly same as original airpods pro but soon I realised these are the fake ones as because of the product looks, sound quality and there is no noise cancellation as the real airpods pro.
I tried reaching out to the seller yet he's denying to accept his fake product back instead he's accusing me saying he has sold genuine apple product to me. Obviously I'm not an fool I've been an buyer on Ebay for the last 4 years since 2016 and I have 100% positive buyer feedback. So I made cheked on that sller's profile as I could see this guy created his account just couple days ago just to scam people on Ebay by sellling fake Apple Airpods pro.
Yet, he's denying to accept my return request but I want an refund for this misleading purchase.
The Site is full of those Fake Apple Airpods. Don't bother with the Seller again.Just open an Item Not As Described Case with Ebay. If the Seller is in the UK he will have to generate the Returns Label through the Case. He has just 3 Business days to Accept your Return. If he doesn't comply you can then Escalate the Case for EBay to Step in. They will Force the Refund as soon as Tracking shows as Delivered or Attempted Delivery back to the Seller.
Just seen you are Listing Face Masks under Fancy Dress. You cannot Sell Face Masks on here unless you are an Approved Registered Business Seller.
How can you be scammed when you can get a full refund, have you never read the Money Back Guarantee. Seller cannot sell fakes on Ebay and he cannot refuse a return for "NOT AS DESCRIBED".
Asking a seller if a item is genuine is never going to get an answer of no, so you get no answer at all.
There will always be sellers selling fakes as there will always be sellers bypassing ebay seller rules
Your listing for masks makes you a business seller so you are trading illegally.
It's impossible to be scammed on Ebay, if you use one of the many tools that Ebay has supplied, and use them properly and as instructed:
The Money Back Guarantee (on every listing, in various other places across the site, and on your order confirmation).
The More Actions dropdown on your Purchase History page.
The Resolution Centre (link at foot of any page).
The Help pages with their integral search (links at top and foot of any page).
(These tools are easier to find than these forums, so I'm not sure how you've managed to miss them all.)
