I have an item, a small pump, that arrived broken due to inadequate packaging. I teried to resolve this directly with the seller but they have been stringing me along, saying that they were waiting for a replacement. Seller claims to be in the UK but is actually in China. I asked for a refund, they offered a 60% refund (for a totally unusable item). I requested a return, and the seller has cancelled the return. It was purchased about 10 weeks ago. I did not report it as a faulty item with Ebay because there appeared to be no option to do this (I've since learned I should have clicked "item not as described").   Do I have any recourse? Hi, Please can we filter out Collection in Person listings? With the Covid-19 situation we shouldn't really be travelling and I just want to find items that can be posted to me or my family.   Also is there a way to 'Upvote' suggestions for development on the Community if you agree with them?  This can help gauge ebay customer software development need and flag any 'pain points' experienced by users both buying and selling.  A facility to add comments to the existing post when Upvoting would also be useful to support the use case. I am currently owed £60 because a seller was pretending to sell face masks but actually sent just filters. eBay has removed the seller for this reason. I used the "resolve an issue" feature before they were removed to request a return and refund. The seller never sent the return postage. My claim has been in limbo for a month. I finally managed to find a number to call eBay last week and they told me to phone this week when the 30 days is over to have the funds credited back to PayPal but the phone number they gave me just sends me back to the website. The chat link and "have us call you" link just direct to FAQ pages.    Does anyone know how to contact eBay at the moment? Is there an email perhaps?   Thank you! ... View more

Hi, does anyone know how I can speak to eBay direct? I ordered an expensive swimming pool on April 30th but the seller won't answer my messages asking when it will be dispatched & as far as I can tell has now removed all his other listings from eBay. The automated eBay service won't help till May 16th but meanwhile we have constructed a concrete base in our garden to take that exact size of pool. there are only a couple of this same pool available anywhere now, from eBay sellers in Italy so I need my money refunded asap to get another the same... or can eBay reassure me that the original seller has actually sent my pool!  ... I just had a package arrive from China. It's the wrong product.   The seller isn't replying, and when I go through the process to report it, ebay says I can no longer do anything about it. And of course I cannot give them a bad review because I'm cut off there as well.   What can be done about it, except make a note to never buy from that seller again? Bought a pair of new trousers size 8. Paid immediately. Seller promised to post them the following day but instead I got a message stating she hadn't got the trousers, would I accept a different pair, sent me several photos of trousers, none size 8, one pair was a size 22!!! I politely declined and asked for a refund. She sent a "cancel transaction " request which I accepted, however this did not refund my money. When I informed her of this, she told me that she couldn't deal with it as it was her day off and she would look the following day. The next day she informed me that PayPal had refunded me, they hadn't so when I asked her to send a screenshot to prove what she stated, she said no, that she wasn't going to refund twice. I've opened a case with PayPal which I know I will win but in the meantime I left her negative feedback. She has managed  to remove it from both her and my Ebay accounts, does anyone know how this is possible? ... View more

Purchased two chairs on ebay. Seller looked legit at the time with healthy feedback. Items then shipped two days later. I then noticed that the seller started to receive an influx of negative feedback (approx 70 in a day) relating to items not being delivered to the correct address. The seller has since changed their feedback so this is private only and all their items for sale have since been removed. I contacted the courier company who confirmed that the address i gave did not match the address and they advised i need to contact the seller. The seller is obvioulsy not responding and today i have received the confirmation from the courier that i was expecting that the item has been delivered to somewhere other than my address. I now need to report this to eBay so i can have my money refunded but eBay do not make this easy. I go to the resolution centre, follow the instructions i.e i haven't received the item but it only allows me to contact the seller, which i have done but obviously not going to help given the circumastances. Bought an EBike which is faulty. Opened a return request but the post label is for a service which won't take such a larger and heavy parcel. Seller has reluctantly agreed to the return but will not pay cost of posting (£40). I bought an item on eBay and payed through Paypal, I then get an "Appealing unpaid items", I send email to seller with pictuer of proof of payment, I hear nothing, I messaged eBay and no answer there either...... I cannot leave feedback on any purchased i have made in the last three months due to when i try i get an errors message saying ebay has stopped working, if i try again i get throw out completly and return to my home screen, has anyone else had this problem and how do i fix it to leave feedback on my purchase.
