hi can anyone from ebay or anyone who knows about GPSR claifiy a few points for me please.
We sell used IT, laptops, screens, motherboards parts etc..
Currently we have turned off EU and NI and have had zero sales to these locations as expected.
As far as I can understand Items for spares or repair can still be sold without all the Nonsense required currently to sell anything else (IE) responsible person in EU manuals, instructions, saftery notices etc etc blah blah blah..
So my question to ebay or somebody who actually knows is ..
If I list a working laptop without adding the criteria now required in the drop down boxes it will not be visable to EU or NI and I will not face sanctions BUT if I list a broken laptop for spares or repairs and also do not fill in the drop down boxes will it be visible and be allowed to sell in EU and NI ?
If this is correct what criteria is ebay using to differentiate between the working and non working / allowed not allowed / visible not visible ?
Is it simply on the condition drop down box (IE) new, used for spares selection or is there other stuff required.
I Would appriciate some help here ebay as sales are off a cliff and need to get some clarification as very confusing.
I assume other UK used IT guys SME's and sole traders like myself are not able to obtain the criteria required to sell used working products now as is simply not cost effect or realistic unless you are selling many thousands of £'s worth into EU or have a friend in the EU to cover for you as a rep.
Comments / advise please thanks..
