Hi, recently since Ebay encouraged everyone to get a private account i have had endless trouble with Brand new ZERO feedback accounts buying items and immediately demanding a refund yet when offered to return the item they ignore the process and state how angry they are.
It's happening every few weeks and seems like a total scam as any angry customer would simply take the full refund and free return.
Anyone else seeing a similar issuie?

You're welcome. Some of your listings scam magnets so cancel any sale with 0 feedback if you have any doubts.
Try not to get in to conversations either and just say, please open a return request on Ebay.

Have you set your blocked buyer list with certain criteria?
It wont stop everything but may help.

Thank you for your advice.
Yes half my business is cosmetics and it is constantly that category that is the issuie.
It's just to easy for people to make complaints or have no idea about the product they are purchasing.
Regardless I shall take your advice on board and look into blocking sellers with no reviews.
Thanks for your participation in the question it is appreciated.

You can't block buyers with 0 feedback.

It'd also stop genuine new buyers 'popping up' 😕

Yes but I suppose a genuine buyer will soon purchase an item on ebay regardless and quickly have a feed back or two.
It just seems there's not really a good way to deal with these accounts.
Last year we sold a camera to a customer with zero feedback and they opended a return and sent back a broken one of thr same model with a different serial number.
It's just too easy to set up an account and try your luck 🙃
